Xochipilli Jewelry was created by Anahí Santos as a way to share her & her family’s creations all over Chumash territory (and now beyond that with the help & support from y’all) . Rooted in our Ñuu Savi/Mixtec culture, we continue to preserve our traditions by practicing our craft and sharing it with all of you!
Like the Mexicas, the Mixtecos had a deity who we related art, music, poetry and flowers to- Yya Sahuaco. Xochipilli is a reminder of the interconnectedness between indigenous communities.
Our art is a reflection of our history and our future, both here on these lands and of the motherland that's always in our hearts.
